Well maybe I was a little quick on the draw in badmouthing the voters of America's northern outpost. After the first day of counting absentee and questioned ballots convicted felon and incumbent Republican Senator Ted Stevens is no longer in the lead. Anchorage's Democratic Mayor Mark Begich is now up by three votes.
There are still a bunch more votes to be counted later this week (it sounds like) so you never know what'll happen, but this certainly has me feeling better.
